Participation in Texas College Bridge provides high school juniors and seniors to take online college preparatory courses, strengthening their English and math skills prior to enrolling in college and setting them on a path to postsecondary success.

If a student is unsuccessful on the TSI, Hawkins ISD enrolls students in Texas College Bridge to better prepare them for college courses.  TCB courses are personalized, self-paced and teacher facilitated—allowing students to focus on skills they need and skip those they have already mastered, with teacher support along the way. Students receive additional support and resources to help them complete college transition milestones.

Students, at the time of high school graduation, that have completed the Texas College Bridge program can earn a TSI exemption at more than 80 partnering colleges and universities across Texas.  The list is growing and now includes:
