PreKindergarten and Kindergarten Registration

REGISTRATION starts Wednesday, March 27 for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten 

Hawkins ISD will have two PreK classrooms for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Pre-K is a full-day class for students who are 4 years old by Sept 1.

We have two options available.

OPTION 1: State-funded. Must meet eligibility in one of the following ways: Eligible for the free and reduced lunch program, limited English proficient, foster care (formerly or currently), child of an active member of the armed services or killed/injured in the during active duty, is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award, and/or homeless.

OPTION 2: Tuition-based for students who do not meet state-funded programs. Registration for tuition-based seats will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students who qualify for PreK will be served first. The remaining openings will be awarded after qualifiers have enrolled.

Please bring an official birth certificate, social security card, updated immunization record, proof of residence, and verification of income.
