Hawkins ISD Staff, Students, and Community,

It is an honor to be selected as the Interim Superintendent of Hawkins ISD. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve this incredible district, and I look forward to working closely with all of you as we continue to uphold the high standards of excellence that Hawkins ISD is known for.

Each day, I am reminded of how fortunate we are to be part of a community that is united in its dedication to the success of our students. As we move forward together, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome I have received and assure you that my commitment to our students, staff, and community is unwavering.

One of the many things I’ve already come to appreciate about Hawkins ISD is our shared vision of what it means to be Hawk Strong. To me, Hawk Strong is more than a motto; it embodies our resilience, our commitment to supporting one another, and our pursuit of excellence in all that we do. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or within the community, being Hawk Strong means striving to reach our highest potential and lifting each other up along the way.

I also want to personally invite you to join me for a Meet and Greet this Tuesday, September 17, from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, in the Hawkins High School Gym commons area. This will be a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and enjoy some coffee and donuts together. I look forward to meeting many of you in person and hearing your thoughts on how we can continue to make Hawkins ISD a place where every student thrives.

As I step into this role, I am filled with optimism and excitement for the future. I know that, together, we can accomplish great things. It’s a great day to be a Hawk!
