  • DEADLINES are important!!
  • Every Wednesday, seniors can work on applications in Mrs. Wright’s class.  You can also request WIN time if you need additional help. Mrs. Kirklin is also available to help. 
  • Complete a high school resume and distribute it to teachers, coaches, and employers when requesting a letter of recommendation. Make sure you ask at LEAST a week in advance for letters.
  • DOWNLOAD the scholarships below to your computer to fill out the application. This feature is in the works. Some personal computers have the capability to use this feature.
  • Do not AI your essay.  If you need help, ASK!!!
  • Some scholarships will require Mrs. Kirklin to sign and add information.  DO NOT WAIT until the last minute. (She may not be on campus that day.)
  • Updated transcripts should be available the week of January 19th.
  • Purchase some manila envelopes to submit applications and other required documents.
  • Mail BEFORE the “Postmarked By” date.
  • Hand delivery is possible. Makes a great impression!

Other important tips:

  • Check your personal and college email OFTEN once you have applied to schools.
  • Make sure you have applied for the scholarships offered by the college you have been accepted to. There are deadlines to accept.
  • Check the admissions portal for the schools where you have applied.
