Hawkins ISD is proud to announce Quiana Conde as the new Assistant Principal of Hawkins Middle/High School, beginning in July 2025. A proud 1994 graduate of Hawkins High School, Mrs. Conde has dedicated the past 26 years to Hawkins ISD, serving as a high school math teacher, Assistant Athletic Director, and the head coach of the Lady Hawks basketball team. Her leadership on and off the court has left a lasting legacy in our district. During her coaching career, Coach Conde led the Lady Hawks to seven consecutive district championships, more than 450 career wins, and an incredible 20 postseason appearances. She was named the 2020 East Texas Coach of the Year and served on the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Board of Directors, a testament to her excellence and influence in education and athletics.
Quiana holds degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University and Lamar University. She and her husband, Derrick, are deeply rooted in the Hawkins community. They have three children—Zachary, Tenley, and Cruz, and one grandson. Two of their children are Hawkins alumni, and their youngest currently attends Hawkins Elementary.
