Hawkins High School is a school community rich in tradition and HAWK pride. Within the Hawkins school district, both parents and business leaders are interested and involved in the future of our students. Our faculty and staff are caring professionals who are committed to helping every student grow into the person he/she is meant to be.
Through the loving example and careful direction of the instructional staff at Hawkins High School, students become lifelong learners who are motivated and interested in their own growth and progress. Their character and integrity are developed through the example of our staff members and through active involvement in programs such as CTE courses, AgriScience, Band, Theatre Arts and Athletics.
Although we are small enough to offer small class sizes to foster individualized instruction and student-teacher interactions, our small size certainly does not limit the wide variety of academic, technical, and extracurricular opportunities that Hawkins offers. Hawkins High School recognizes the importance of technology, academics, fine arts, and athletics to generate well-rounded students who enjoy exploring different interests and learning new skills. We offer many dual credit courses to the college-bound student, as well as certifications to those wanting to pursue a particular trade after high school.
It only takes a moment of being on campus or at an HHS event to feel the sense of community and experience the HAWK pride (persistence, responsibility, innovation, determination, and employability) we have in our school and community.
