 | Welcome to the Hawkins ISD School Clinic's Information Corner! Natalie Hlavenka LVN Sherry Vance - Nurse Aide We have two clinics located on our campus this year. One is now located in the High School and the other is located in the same room as last year, in the Elementary School. We will be adding new information to this website periodically. Every month or so new information will be available on a table outside the elementary clinic. You are invited to come by and take what you need or ask any questions you may have. - For information on prevention of STAPH infections please see the link in our menu on Germs: The Spread of Disease and Infection.
- Call 211 if you are in need of information concerning: chips, medicaid, childcare, senior services, finding a physician, utility bill assistance, food, shelter, rent assistance, legal aid, counseling after-school programs, disaster relief and other local services. This service is available 24/7 through out the year. Information is available in over 90 languages. Calling from out side of Texas, or have technical difficulties, please dial their alternate toll free access number at 1-877-541-7905. Online Assistance: www.uwtyler.org
- Please take the time to read the Hawkins ISD Medication Policy for every important information.
- Due to a large number of children that come in to the clinic needing a change of clothes, we are recommending that all children PK through 3rd grade bring an extra full set of clothes to be kept at school for emergencies. The change of clothes should be marked with your child's name so they can be sent home at the end of the school year. If your child needs to change, we will send home the clothes they were wearing and the clothing used will need to be replaced as needed.
